As part of the diagnostic project, we carry out free tests for mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes in patients diagnosed with ovarian, peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer, prostate cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
About the project
As part of the diagnostic project, it is possible to order a free BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation test. The study is aimed at patients diagnosed with:
- ovarian, peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer
- prostate cancer
- pancreatic cancer
The study consists in assessing the presence of variants in the complete sequence of BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes using the next generation sequencing (NGS) method.
