We support patients and their family members

The Warsaw Genomics team consists of specialists in the field of molecular diagnostics, doctors specializing in oncogenetics and patient service personnel.

Since 2012, we have been constantly supporting and engaging in helping people suffering from cancer and their families in the field of prophylaxis, diagnostics, consultations and oncological education.

Prophylaxis

In the BadamyGeny.pl Program, we determine the individual risk of developing hereditary neoplasms by performing precise genetic tests and on the basis of information about oncological disease in the family. Each patient receives a personalized preventive action plan to reduce the likelihood of developing cancer.

All persons burdened with a pathogenic mutation are invited for a free consultation with a geneticist. If the doctor sees indications, the patient may be referred for free imaging tests, such as: magnetic resonance imaging or computed tomography.

The test result in the BadamyGeny.pl Program may also be helpful in assessing the risk of developing a patient's children.

Diagnostics

A team of Warsaw Genomics scientists has created 36 panels of genetic tests for cancer diagnosis. Thanks to them, the patient has the opportunity to find out whether his disease has a genetic basis, which allows to select a treatment appropriate to the type of cancer (targeted therapies).

Consultation with doctors and specialists

As part of the activities of the Warsaw Genomics Clinic, our doctors provide oncogenetic advice, including targeted therapy. We are happy to take part in pro-proposition campaigns, during which we also provide support free of charge.

Moreover, the Warsaw Genomics Clinic offers free psycho-oncologist support.

Education

We organize webinars on cancer prevention for cancer patients and their families. Our doctors and specialists share their knowledge about prevention and the role of genetics in modern diagnostics.

We also work with Oncological Foundations from all over Poland, supporting them substantively during meetings with patients.
