About this test
Accumulation of DNA mutations occurs prior to the transformation from a normal cell into a cancerous cell. These genetic changes can determine the management of the disease.
In this test, using genome sequencing, whole coding sequences of the genes commonly mutated in cancer are analyzed. Based on the test results we are able to suggest more effective treatment schemes.
It’s important to remember that qualification for any therapy depends on the clinical background and decision of the physician.
In this test, we also determine inborn cancer predisposition based on the analysis of germline mutations in the culpable genes.
To perform the test we need paraffine block with the cancer tissue and pathology slides made of this block as well as 4 ml of EDTA blood sample.
