About this test
Analysis of the entire coding sequence of the UBA1 gene. Somatic variants occur in VEXAS syndrome. Tissue material (bone marrow is optimal) is required to perform the test. The test can be carried out on DNA isolated from blood leukocytes, but despite the use of a somatic protocol, its sensitivity is significantly lower compared with analysis of DNA isolated from tissue.
