About this test
Hemiplegic migraine is a rare subtype of migraine with aura, characterized by the presence of motor weakness as an aura manifestation at the time of migraine attack.
About 50% of patients were born with the genetic mutation responsible for the disease.
In this test, using novel technology of genome sequencing, full sequences of the genes responsible for hemiplegic migraine are analyzed (ATP1A2, CACNA1A, SCN1A).
